DVD Menu Animation

This is a splash screen/menu animation I made for my own DVD show reel. I made the graphics using Photoshop and After FX. I also made the music and sound FX using ProTools. I had After FX tie that animation to the sound, that’s how and why it all looks like it’s synced together. I took the DLP and flipped it, then put a dark layer over it and changed the opacity to something like 30% to give that reflection look on the bottom.

Young Entrepreneur’s

youngEntrepreneures

This was a video I produced and edited. The client was IEEE and Microsoft. We wanted to make a video about what it takes to be a young entrepreneur in today’s marketplace. We interviewed 3 different people with different backgrounds. All of them gave thier insight to what is needed for today’s young people to make it in business. A professor, 2 young people who started their own tech company and a CEO of a Silicon Valley company. I did the editing and all the graphic work. I also wrote the VO script and produced this.

Magic Buds Infomercial

Video for the infomercial for Jakks Pacific Magic Buds. Video edited and graphic work done in February 2011. The graphic design was done with Illustrator and the touch up of the buds (they all looked like crap) was done with Photoshop. The video was all edited with Final Cut Pro.

The Veronicas

Veronicas   - Untouched live at UGO. This was part of the UGO Raw series. I shot this and I did the interview, that’s on another clip on this site, but, this was cool. I did this with 2 Z1Us and a couple of lavs, and hand-held’s, strategically placed that gave me a sound I could use and work with. I liked these girls, and their band. They were all really nice people.

UGO Sizzle

This was a quick sizzle reel that I did for the sales team at UGO. I made all the screen grabs for the website shots. I made all the opening titles too. This was a process. We had a LOT of footage and a lot to show. I never like “webassodes” that are longer than 2.5 min. It just dosen’t make sense. In this case, there was just too much to show. Anyway, I like the way it came out. I like the choice of music, picked by me. I didnt have a lot to choose from. But I am really happy how this came out and I think it looks great.

Motion Graphic Work

Here are some titles and motion graphic work I have done. This was an IEEE sponsored event that took place in NJ in October 2011. I edited all the speeches and created the whole package for this. I also, shot the whole show using the Sony Z1U.  There is no audio for this file.

Lovin Leftovers Infomercial

Another infomercial for Concepts TV. This was a tough one. The food looked terrible every time I got footage. But, we worked it and did a few more shoots with different food and it it started to come together. I have a lot more respect for food preparation people who make food look good on TV. Its not easy. It’s also something you can’t really fix in post. You can fix the color somewhat, but if does not look appetizing, it just won’t work. I edited this piece with Final Cut Pro. I added the steam at the end to the Mac N Cheese with Motion.

Classy Cover Infomercial

Here is another infomercial I did for Concepts TV Production. This had graphic elements that we got from other sources, but most of it was made in illustrator. A lot of the split screen stuff was all done in Final Cut Pro and all the “supers” were made in illustrator.

DLP Video Reel from 2009

Here is my video reel that I did in about 2009. I figured I would put it up there. It has a lot of the work I did for UGO and a lot of the celebrity shoots I was doing at the time. It also has a lot of hot girls in it. I made the graphic elements with Motion and all the editing was done with Final Cut Pro.
