Jon Lajoie Everyday Normal Guy

Jon Lajoie, very very funny comedian with some really funny, impressive songs. This was an interview/session we did with him at Carolines Comedy Club in NYC. He was nice enough to do some acoustic versions of some of his more famous songs. Good times. All shot on the Sony Z1U and edited with Final Cut Studio Pro.  I love the way he f**ks up and starts over…he makes it just seem normal, like an everyday normal guy.

Batman Red Carpet

This was the red carpet event for the Batman, the Dark Knight movie in NYC. This was a lot of fun but also stressful. Its hard to stay in the one little spot they give you to stand in. Everyone was super nice tho especially since they have to answer the same questions over and over. I edited this with Final Cut and I shot it with the Sony Z1U.

Young Entrepreneur’s

youngEntrepreneures

This was a video I produced and edited. The client was IEEE and Microsoft. We wanted to make a video about what it takes to be a young entrepreneur in today’s marketplace. We interviewed 3 different people with different backgrounds. All of them gave thier insight to what is needed for today’s young people to make it in business. A professor, 2 young people who started their own tech company and a CEO of a Silicon Valley company. I did the editing and all the graphic work. I also wrote the VO script and produced this.

The Veronicas

Veronicas   - Untouched live at UGO. This was part of the UGO Raw series. I shot this and I did the interview, that’s on another clip on this site, but, this was cool. I did this with 2 Z1Us and a couple of lavs, and hand-held’s, strategically placed that gave me a sound I could use and work with. I liked these girls, and their band. They were all really nice people.

UGO Sizzle

This was a quick sizzle reel that I did for the sales team at UGO. I made all the screen grabs for the website shots. I made all the opening titles too. This was a process. We had a LOT of footage and a lot to show. I never like “webassodes” that are longer than 2.5 min. It just dosen’t make sense. In this case, there was just too much to show. Anyway, I like the way it came out. I like the choice of music, picked by me. I didnt have a lot to choose from. But I am really happy how this came out and I think it looks great.

Sasha Grey Interview

Niiiice. Sasha. What can I say. This was shot at the AVN awards show in Las Vegas. Tommy Gunn, a good friend, conducted all the interviews for us. This was part of a series we did for UGO. The video’s and interviews came out awesome. It was a great time. All of this was edited with Final Cut Pro.

MTV Video Movie Awards Red Carpet

Edited by me, and done for UGO. This was the red carpet event for the MTV Movie awards in 2009. We got a lot of footage and did a lot of interviews. I think we took all the interviews and made them into individual clips. I can’t remember. Anyway. I edited this with Final Cut Pro.

The Hangover Junket

This was a junket. One of those things where the actors are around and they answer the same questions from different people for hours about the movie they are in. It seems like its a pain in the ass, but I guess that why they get paid the big bucks. Maybe? This was for the movie the Hangover. I used to have to edit these things all the time at UGO. I always liked them tho.

SlipKnot interview

Interview done at MSG right before the show. Pickle nose was an awesome guy. Really really nice and more than accommodating. We did a few other interviews that day, but this was the best one. I shot this with the Sony A1U. Its a handy little cam, portable and reliable. Small and light it shoots great video. All of this was edited on Final Cut Pro.

Bam Margera Stunt Video

This was a clip done for UGO.com. This was Bam talking about stunts he did with his friend Brandon Novack. Pretty funny video and cool that we did it in the bathroom. This was all done by me using Final Cut Pro and Motion. the graphics are something to be desired but I had NO time to get this up.
