Jon Lajoie Everyday Normal Guy

Jon Lajoie, very very funny comedian with some really funny, impressive songs. This was an interview/session we did with him at Carolines Comedy Club in NYC. He was nice enough to do some acoustic versions of some of his more famous songs. Good times. All shot on the Sony Z1U and edited with Final Cut Studio Pro.  I love the way he f**ks up and starts over…he makes it just seem normal, like an everyday normal guy.

Lance Armstrong Video

This was a commercial we did at RG/A featuring Lance Armstrong for NIKE. It was all edited by RG/A’s digital studio. I worked in the digital studio in the audio department. I did the music for this using ProTools. I played the guitar track and created the drums with some synth.

- Music written, performed and produced by DLP

- All  sound created using ProTools on a Mac.

AICP Promo

This was a promotion for AICP. It was a 30 second sound clip that I did the sound design for. All the audio was done with ProTools. I am really happy with the way this came out. It combines very cool minimal music and some really cool sound design. I like the sound I made at :35 into it.

- Music/Sound written, performed and produced by DLP using ProTools.

Music by Blind Ruckus

album-cover

My music persona is Blind Ruckus. The name came in the early 90′s and I think was about my drumming. Or not. I can’t really remember. I play 8 instruments and have been writing music since I was in high school. This is some music I made recently. All the songs were done with ProTools. I wrote, performed and produced all the songs. Enjoy it on SoundCloud a great site for finding new music. Start up a free account and follow me, download my songs or make comments on tracks.

Batman Red Carpet

This was the red carpet event for the Batman, the Dark Knight movie in NYC. This was a lot of fun but also stressful. Its hard to stay in the one little spot they give you to stand in. Everyone was super nice tho especially since they have to answer the same questions over and over. I edited this with Final Cut and I shot it with the Sony Z1U.

DVD Menu Animation

This is a splash screen/menu animation I made for my own DVD show reel. I made the graphics using Photoshop and After FX. I also made the music and sound FX using ProTools. I had After FX tie that animation to the sound, that’s how and why it all looks like it’s synced together. I took the DLP and flipped it, then put a dark layer over it and changed the opacity to something like 30% to give that reflection look on the bottom.

- Graphic work done by DLP

- Music/Sound Design by DLP using ProTools.

- Motion graphic work done by DLP using After FX.

Gems Site

This was a freelance site I designed and coded in Flash. A quick little site that was meant to showcase this jewelry shop. I created the flash animation and design for it and then coded it in Action Script. The main animation is the same swf file getting called each time you click on anything. Then, hard coded in is a new image. It was a quick site I made but I rally like the way it came out. All design was done by me.

Young Entrepreneur’s

youngEntrepreneures

This was a video I produced and edited. The client was IEEE and Microsoft. We wanted to make a video about what it takes to be a young entrepreneur in today’s marketplace. We interviewed 3 different people with different backgrounds. All of them gave thier insight to what is needed for today’s young people to make it in business. A professor, 2 young people who started their own tech company and a CEO of a Silicon Valley company. I did the editing and all the graphic work. I also wrote the VO script and produced this.
